Cornerstone Dental Centre is equipped with iTero scanning units to create 3D models of your teeth so we can avoid traditional impressions providing a more comfortable and efficient dental visit. These digital dentistry scanning tools are equipped with cameras taking hundreds of pictures per minute to build a virtual model of your teeth. We can use our iTero scanners to create crowns, bridges, Invisalign aligners, partial or complete dentures and surgical guides. Alternatively, a dentist may use the iTero scanner to compare how your teeth change over time by taking two scans years apart and overlaying them to compare the wear on your teeth – for those who chronically clench or grind your teeth this can be a great way to see the effect it can have.
